For over 10 years, Carey Seven took on creative projects as a hobby, decorating furniture for friends and family. She trained at the Decorating Masters Institute of Fort Myers, Florida, a technique painting school. Carey decided to to turn her passion into a career in faux finishing. In 2003, Carey founded Mountjoy Designs LLC in St. Louis, Missouri.
Carey consults with her clients in the areas of space, color and texture to create the perfect finish for both residential and commercial spaces. By mixing her knowledge of art and design elements, Carey produces new finishes to complement any décor.
